BLUE, Samuel Maurice - WWII Vet

Samuel Maurice Blue, 63, who graduated from Eminence High School in 1936, died at his home in Denver, Colo Tuesday. He had been ill for one week.  The son of Orville and Zella Dobbs Blue, he was born in Putnam County May 27, 1918. His father had been principal at Eminence and Paragon schools.  During World War II, Mr. Blue was a bomber pilot.  He lived in Indianapolis before moving to Denver.  Survivors include his wife Martha, daughter, Cathy Reyman of Phoenix, Ariz and sister, Beryle Knoy of Phoenix.  A memorial service will be Saturday morning in Denver. The family requests memorials be made in the way of contributions to the heart fund. – kbz
